Materials:
At least 20 toilet paper rolls
Scissors
Plastic glue
Ruler
Pen

Cut 16 rolls in half as shown

Fold the 16 rolls in half lengthwise

Starting from the open side, about ¼ way from the top, cut a slight arc to the top of the crease.

Use this roll as a template to cut the top of the rest of the 16 rolls, so that they will all be the same.

Cut 1 inch off of the bottom straight edge of 8 pieces.

Fold the bottom points to the center crease on all 16.

Take one of the large 8 pieces and put glue from the center to the right crease.

Take another of the large pieces and place it on top of the glued area.
The left bottom edge should be aligned with the left crease of the roll underneath

The left crease of the roll on top should also be aligned with the center crease of the roll underneath.

Let the glue dry completely before going to the next step.

Continue aligning and gluing the remaining 6 large pieces.

When you get to the last piece tuck it under the first

Repeat steps 7 to 10 for the smaller pieces.

Now you will make the stamen.
Squash and cut 4 toilet paper rolls in half as shown in the picture.

Squeeze the top only to mark the halfway point.

Bring the 2 half way marks you just made together to pinch marks the ¼ way.

Pinch the closest quarter marks together to get 8 equal marks all around.

Cut a line halfway down the tube, between the 8 marks you just creased in the last step.

Cut all the 8 crease marks.
This will give you 16 slits.

Repeat on the remaining 7 half tubes
Cut 7 of the rolls open.

Roll them up, each one tighter and insert them into the uncut roll.

Glue the smaller circle of petal inside of the larger circle of petals.

Glue the stamen you just made in the center.

You flower is ready to be painted or decorated!
